What is most important?

Dear Friends, Pondering of what is most important to me , inspired this change. The sampler on the top left, reads Forget me not, remember me, watch and pray, the one on the top right says,Good life, if you would live a life discreet Five things observe with care: of whom you speak, To whom you speak, And how, and when and where. The sampler in the middle, Home Sweet Home, brings me to convey this thought. How blessed is a life who has the teachings of the gospel of Jesus Christ as a road map, what a blessing it is to pray to an Heavenly Father who loves us, and knows us. Must we never to forget to pray. Living our lives through the example of our Savior, brings peace. As we try to keep the commandments and live our lives according to God's plan of happiness , our homes can be sweet, and a place of refuge for those who enter our door. My goal and desire is to live a life as this and for my home to be such a place of refuge. I love my family, may we be examples to all....Let us all stand for truth, and be steadfast....

Thank you for sharing our insights. I apperciate the reminder. Thank you for your example of rightousness and teaching me what is really important in this life- the relationship with our Savior. I have a goal to have a Christ centered home, where it can be a refuge to all who come into it. Now that I'm finally getting things decorated and together it feels like it's starting to feel like 'home'. Ilove you mama! Thanks for all that you do. :)

I too want to immulate Christ by home and my example. I want to be that person that people say" there is something different about her"I want the spirit to dwell in my home and that we have a sanctuary from all the outside influences. This plays a major role in what we watch and the music we listen to,I wish for my home to be a soft place for my kids ,always.

Hi Lucille! I came across your blog so I thought I would drop a note! We have missed seeing you guys at church every week. Things in our new house are finally settling down. I hope you keep up the blog. It will be nice to be able to keep in touch. Can't wait for the next Los Alamos reunion!

Oh Lucille, it was so good to run into you the other day, I was glad to be able to see you before we left. I love your blog so much. You are so uplifting and it is so good to feel like I am close to you once again. You have pointed out some important things in this post and with all that is going on in my life I know it is a good time for me to reexamine my priorities. I have a hard time not getting overwhelmed with the mess and clutter of my house and getting frustrated with my kids but I know that I have more important things to worry about. I need to strive more each day to make our home a refuge for my children, where they can feel the spirit, feel loved, and escape the craziness of the world. Thank you for these wonderful posts. I love you, I have the most wonderful aunts. The most wonderful family.
